Our Speaker:

Ron Lieber is one of the nation’s foremost experts in family finance. He has been the “Your Money” columnist for The New York Times since 2008. He is the author of four books focused on the development of good values and smart financial habits, including The Opposite of Spoiled: Raising Kids Who Are Grounded, Generous, and Smart About Money and Upstart Start-Ups, for young entrepreneurs. Ron’s most recent book, The Price You Pay for College: An Entirely New Road Map for the Biggest Financial Decision Your Family Will Ever Make is the culmination of 18+ years of personal finance reporting for The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal.

Ron is a 3-time recipient of the Gerald Loeb Award, business journalism’s highest honor, in the personal finance category. He writes frequently about who pays what and why for college and how schools price their wares behind the scenes. He also teaches an online video course about merit aid & merit scholarships. Ron lives in Brooklyn with his family.

Stacy earned her BA at Sonoma State University and her MA in Counseling at University of Southern California. Her extensive experience in counseling, effective communication, and providing unwavering support to adolescents during their triumphs and challenges greatly enriches her role at San Domenico.
